Waste Dreams & Stories of Home consists of Artwear outfits, photography, video, poetry, paintings and sculpture. All physical items are made entirely from waste materials with zero waste techniques.
The project looks at our world through waste. What can the present and historical waste situations tell us about the systems linking every human, animal, plant and landscape on Earth, as well as the parts of space where humans have gone.

i dream of waste
I let you drift away like a memory of
things left undone
We move more things around the world than ever before
but we don’t want new species or people
We want to preserve The nature we grew up with Biodiversity Perfect Harmony
while changing everything In a world filled with biological nonsense
building our perfect homes moulding our perfect looks
while creating a continent of waste for invasive species to cruise around on
Tell me
where is the home of insignificant stuff when the material comes from India the maker from Bangladesh the consumer from Europe, producer from the US and the waste ends up littering a beach in West Africa
what is waste anyway
Either
Nothing is without a soul
Or everything is soulless
I DREAM OF WASTE
Explorers want 35mm film 2021
I got stuck 35mm film 2021
With this body of work I examine interspecies connections, growing us against them thinking and human relationship with material through waste. I am specifically interest in how different materials are connected to human history and our primitive memory.
The project received a grant from Taike in August 2021.
